Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our upscale butcher shop. A Sales Executive is often a versatile position that requires good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance customer service with efficient cashiering.

As a Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service, handling cashier and point-of-sale (POS) responsibilities and engaging with customers to create a memorable shopping experience. This position is perfect for individuals who have a passion for high
- quality meats and a strong desire to exceed customer expectations. The Sales Associate shall report to the Outlet Manager or Operations Manager and will perform a wide range of responsibilities, including customer service.

Role and Responsibilities:Customer Engagement
- Welcome customers with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Provide expert guidance on our selection of premium meats, cuts, and specialty items.
- Share knowledge about various meats, preparation methods, and recipe ideas.
- Offer personalized recommendations based on customer preferences and needs.

Cash Handling and POS Operation
- Accurately process customer transactions using our POS system.
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and electronic transactions.
- Ensure the cash register is balanced at the end of each shift.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds with professionalism and adherence to store policies.
- Ensure that the cash register and related equipment are in working order and report any issues to management.

Product Knowledge
- Maintain a deep understanding of our product offerings, including meat cuts, sources, and preparation techniques.
- Stay informed about current specials, promotions, and seasonal items.
- Continuously update your knowledge to provide the best customer service.

Prospecting
- Identifying and targeting potential customers or leads who may be interested in the products or services offered by the company.

Sales and Upselling
- Actively engage customers to promote sales and cross-sell complementary products.
- Inform customers about our loyalty program, special packages, and upcoming events.
- Encourage customers to explore new or seasonal offerings.

Sales Reporting
- Keeping detailed records of sales activities, performance, and results for analysis and decision-making.
- Predicting future sales and revenue based on historical data, market trends, and other factors.

Communication and Automation
- Managing and tracking all customer interactions, to provide a holistic view of the customer relationship.

Inventory Management
- Assist in monitoring and replenishing inventory to ensure there is proper stock rotation to minimize waste and product loss.
- Assist in regular stocktaking activities.
- Notify management of low stock or any issues related to product availability.

Teamwork
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide efficient and seamless service.
- Support fellow Sales Executives and butchers as needed.
- Contribute to an efficient workflow, positive and supportive work environment.

Presentation and Hygiene
- Ensure the shop is kept clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Regularly sanitize countertops, scales, and equipment.
- Maintain an attractive product presentation, including arranging displays and merchandising.

Security Loss and Prevention
- Follow security procedures to prevent theft or fraud, including checking the validity of payment methods and identifying counterfeit currency.

Opening and Closing Duties
- Ensure the store's opening and closing procedures are followed, which may include preparing the cash register, securing the store, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in customer service and cashiering role preferred.
- A passion for quality meats and a strong interest in culinary arts.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills. And the ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle customer inquiries with professionalism.
