We are currently recruiting for IT PMO role for our client.

- Location - Abu Dhabi
- Duration - 6 months and extendable

As the IT PMO, some of your key responsibilities include:

- Project Governance: Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, methodologies, Project Charters, Project Initiation Documentation, and best practices. Define and enforce project management standards, processes, and policies.
- Portfolio Management: Manage the IT project portfolio, including project prioritization, resource allocation, and budgeting. Monitor and track project performance, risks, and dependencies. Provide regular updates and reports to management and leadership.
- Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure projects are properly resourced and aligned with strategic objectives. Monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Resource Management: Coordinate and optimize the allocation of IT resources across projects. Ensure that resource capacity and availability are aligned with project demands. Identify resource gaps and recommend solutions.
- Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Monitor and report on risk mitigation activities.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their requirements, expectations, and priorities. Establish effective communication channels and mechanisms to ensure stakeholder engagement and alignment.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance project management processes, tools, and methodologies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors involved in IT projects. Coordinate vendor selection processes, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring.
- Workstream Integration: Develop an integrated plan that ensures dependencies between workstreams are mapped and are being met.
- Track the project critical path and help ensure any blockers are identified early and suitable plans in place to address them.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration).
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the IT domain.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
