Travel Desk Officer

**Responsibilities**:
- Handle end-to-end travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation for employees.
- Ensure compliance with travel policies and guidelines.
- Develop detailed travel itineraries, including meeting schedules, transportation details, and accommodation information.
- Communicate itineraries to employees and address any travel-related inquiries.
- Monitor and control travel-related expenses to stay within budget constraints.
- Process and reconcile travel expense reports in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain relationships with travel agencies, hotels, and other service providers.
- Negotiate and secure favorable rates and terms for corporate travel.
- Enforce and communicate travel policies to employees.
- Provide guidance on policy compliance and best practices.
- Assist in managing travel-related emergencies or disruptions.
- Coordinate alternative arrangements in case of unforeseen events.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee travel details.
- Generate periodic reports on travel-related metrics.
- Communicate travel updates, policies, and relevant information to employees.
- Act as a point of contact for travel-related inquiries.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Travel Desk Officer or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with travel booking platforms and systems.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with employees and external service providers.
- Quick decision-making and problem-solving skills in managing travel-related challenges.
- Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering a positive travel experience.
- Proficient in travel management software and MS Office.
