Join our friendly office team as a Student Counselor
**Job Profile**:
- Familiar with college and university programs, majors, admissions requirements and processes, and scholarship in the Canada.
- Guide students in researching colleges and programs that match their interests and goals.
- Provide guidance on writing essays and preparing for interviews.
- Prepare students for college visits and provide relevant information and advice.
- Create profiles for each applicant and work collaboratively with other counselors to review and make final approvals
- Keep students updated on admission decisions and assist with enrollment processes.
- Planning university admissions-related seminars, conferences, workshops, and other public events;
- Responsible to achieve student admission targets set by the management.
- Responsible to deliver excellent customer service, maintaining effective communication with parents and students.
- Follow-up on the leads generated, attend to enquiries by phone and mail.
- Ensure the centum conversion of the queries to admissions
- Update, maintain and manage the prospective and existing student information database.
- Ensure the complete documentation before the registration process.
- To coordinate with academic heads for student assessments.
- Ensure to meet the timeline to completed the compliance tasks
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve enrollment targets.
- Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Attend college fairs, events, and other recruitment activities to promote the institution and its programs.
- Generate reports on recruitment activities, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics.
- Any other task assigned by the reporting head or the Head.
**Qualifications, Experience and Skills**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management / Business Administration or Equivalent
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel and present information for recruitment purposes
- Ability to work extended hours during critical admissions seasons
- Experience of 2-3 years in similar position in the UAE.
- Excellent knowledge of college admission processes and requirements.
- Verbal and written fluency in English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of sales and marketing strategies is desirable.
- Ability to assist students from diverse backgrounds in achieving their college goals
