**JOB OVERVIEW**:
The Production Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a PE extrusion factory producing industrial films, including construction sheets, pallet covers, and collision shrink films. The role includes responsibility for achieving production targets, ensuring product quality, managing the production team, and developing new formulations (BOM) to meet customer quality requirements. The Production Manager will also lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and drive product development.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**1. Production Management**:

- Plan, coordinate, and manage all production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output targets.
- Ensure efficient use of equipment, materials, and labor to achieve production goals while maintaining product quality and minimizing waste.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet deadlines.

**2. BOM (Bill of Materials) Development**:

- Develop and optimize BOMs for existing products to meet customer-specific quality requirements.
- Lead the development of new BOMs for product development, especially for construction films, pallet covers, and collision shrink films.
- Collaborate with the R&D or technical team to test and refine new formulations and raw material combinations.

**3. Quality Assurance**:

- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure all products meet the required quality standards for construction, pallet cover, and shrink films.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to address any deviations or product defects, and initiate corrective actions.

**4. Team Leadership**:

- Lead and manage the production team, including operators and supervisors, to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Provide ongoing training and development to team members to enhance skills and improve overall production efficiency.

**5. Process Optimization**:

- Identify areas for improvement within the production process and implement solutions to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend upgrades or repairs as needed to minimize downtime.

**6. Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly adhered to on the production floor.
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

**7. Inventory and Resource Management**:

- Oversee raw material inventory levels to ensure sufficient supply while minimizing excess stock.
- Work closely with procurement to ensure timely supply of raw materials such as PE resins, calcium carbonate, and additives.

**8. Product Development and Customer Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with customers and the sales team to understand specific product requirements and ensure that production can meet those specifications.
- Lead the development of new film products based on market demand and customer feedback.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field (preferred but not required if extensive experience in PE extrusion is present).
**Experience**: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in production management within the plastic or PE extrusion industry, specifically in industrial films (construction sheets, pallet covers, shrink films).
**Technical Skills**: Proven experience in developing and optimizing BOMs to meet customer specifications. Strong knowledge of PE resins, extrusion processes, and film production.
**Leadership**: Demonstrated leadership and team management experience in a production environment.
**Problem-Solving**: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in process optimization and quality control.

**SKILLS**:

- Strong understanding of extrusion machines and processes.
- Ability to manage production under tight schedules and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, sales, and quality control.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in a production environment.

**KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS)**:

- Achieve monthly production targets.
- Maintain or improve product quality as measured by customer feedback and internal quality metrics.
- Reduce production costs through process optimization and waste reduction.
- Successful development and implementation of new BOMs for product development.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
