Overview:
As an Oracle Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful migration, integration, and management of our critical systems onto the Oracle Cloud platform. Your deep expertise in Oracle Cloud technologies, coupled with your architectural vision, will be essential in shaping our cloud strategy and ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of our cloud-based solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design comprehensive Oracle Cloud solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements.
- Develop and present architectural blueprints, diagrams, and documentation to convey solution designs to stakeholders.
- Lead the provisioning and configuration of Oracle Cloud infrastructure components, including compute, storage, networking, and security services.
- Implement best practices for high availability, disaster recovery, and data protection within the Oracle Cloud environment.
- Integrate cloud solutions with existing systems and third-party services, utilizing APIs, microservices, and integration patterns.
- Design and implement robust security measures within the Oracle Cloud environment, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance controls.
- Stay up-to-date with security trends and vulnerabilities to proactively address potential risks.
- Optimize resource utilization to achieve cost-effectiveness while maintaining required performance levels.
- Champion the use of automation tools and DevOps practices to streamline deployment, configuration, and management of Oracle Cloud resources.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to accelerate software delivery.
- Collaborate with architecture review boards and provide input into technology standards and roadmaps.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to Oracle Cloud deployments, collaborating with support teams and vendors as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience (X+ years) designing and implementing solutions on the Oracle Cloud platform.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud infrastructure services, including Compute, Networking, Storage, Databases, and Identity and Access Management.
- Relevant Oracle Cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect, Oracle Cloud Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
- Proficiently manage Database as a Service (DBaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions.
- Exhibit knowledge in cloud security, including IAM, WAF, Firewall, and CASB.
- Have experience evaluating and contrasting different cloud Infrastructure offerings, including AWS, Azure, and OCI landscapes.
- Possess the ability to create Cloud Architecture solution blueprints, roadmaps, and define migration strategies based on PAAS/IAAS models.
- Understand licensing models on OCI and conduct TCO analysis for cloud migration.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, microservices, containerization, and serverless computing.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of security administrators.
- Continuous Learning: Demonstrated commitment to staying updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies in the cloud computing space.
