**Job Title: HVAC Foreman**

**Job Summary**:
The HVAC Foreman plays a critical role in overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems on construction sites or within facilities. They lead a team of HVAC technicians, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications and schedules.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Leadership and Supervision**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of HVAC technicians and subcontractors on-site.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and training to ensure that team members perform their duties effectively and safely.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities, setting clear expectations and monitoring progress.
- **Installation and Maintenance**:

- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems according to project plans and specifications.
- Ensure that equipment is properly installed, aligned, and connected, and that all components function correctly.
- Conduct quality inspections to verify compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.
- Conduct regular safety meetings, toolbox talks, and inspections to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Ensure that team members use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety guidelines at all times.
- **Material Management**:

- Coordinate the procurement, delivery, and inventory management of HVAC materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Review project plans and specifications to determine material requirements and ensure timely availability.
- Monitor material usage and wastage, optimizing resource allocation and minimizing costs.
- **Communication and Collaboration**:

- Liaise with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate HVAC activities and resolve issues.
- Provide regular progress updates, reports, and feedback to project stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
- **Troubleshooting and Repairs**:

- Diagnose HVAC system malfunctions and performance issues, troubleshooting problems and implementing solutions.
- Perform repairs, adjustments, and replacements of HVAC components and equipment as needed.
- Prioritize and respond to service calls and emergency situations in a timely manner.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in HVAC systems is preferred.
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role, with at least [4] years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and equipment, including troubleshooting techniques.
- Leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required.

**Working Conditions**:

- The job involves working primarily on construction sites or in facilities where HVAC systems are installed or serviced.
- Work may be performed indoors or outdoors, and may require exposure to various weather conditions.
- The job may involve lifting heavy equipment and working at heights using ladders or scaffolding.

**Salary**: The salary range for an HVAC Foreman varies depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
