**Job Description**:
As part of our regional growth plans, we are currently looking for an **Architect** to join the Concept design team in Dubai, UAE.

**Responsibilities**
- Developed architectural design skills and understanding of the design process and interfaces between design disciplines.
- Extensive project experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility of attitude towards company objectives.
- Understanding of scope definition and scope interface.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Full knowledge of Statutory Authorities requirements, knowledge of codes, regulations and submission requirements.
- Developed knowledge of Fire & Life Safety Principles.
- Developed knowledge of Sustainable Design principles.
- Ability and will to mentor and provide support to junior staff members and spread knowledge across the wider architectural community.
- Ability and will to update knowledge.
- Develop a thorough design philosophy, effectively contributing to the inception and the development of a project.
- Lead the design work ensuring project objectives are met, design instructions are implemented and delivery is achieved within the set time and budget.
- Responsible for the correctness, accuracy and complete multi-disciplinary coordination of the design documentation prepared by the assigned team.
- Responsible, for the preparation and compilation of design presentations and design reports.

**Core Accountabilities**:

- Architectural Design and planning.
- Client Interface.
- Design Coordination.
- Interface with Statutory Authorities.
- Design research.
- Site back-up.

**Requirements**:

- B.Arch or B.Sc in Architecture.
- Minimum 5+ years post qualification experience (UAE/ KSA experience preferred)
- Be a registered member of an accredited RIBA or ARB
- High proficiency in: Rhino, Grasshopper, Sketchup, 3dsmax, Revit, Auto Cad, Photoshop, Indesign
- Graphic skills are a must (Adobe package)

**Qualities & Skills**
- Talent and experienced in working on the design process during the concept/ Schematic designs stages
- Experience of working in a recognised global/ design offices in Middle East
- Capable of leading large scale projects in Hospitality, Mixed use, Residential, commercial and High rise.
- Excellent design and technical capabilities
- Proficiency in Rhino + Grasshopper
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT, word processing and Adobe InDesign/ illustrator/ photoshop.
- Self motivated and able to take responsibility
- Flexible attitude and works well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently
- Excellent organisational skills
- Able to build good relationships at all levels internally and externally
- Resilient to cope with conflicting demands, able to prioritise duties and work effectively under pressure while remaining calm and professional at all times.
- Ability to understand and formulate design decisions and present for discussion
- Ability to use a variety of media in the development and documentation of a design project
