As a Compliance Analyst at BitOasis, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Compliance function in ensuring our operations adhere to the regulatory framework established by VARA (Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority). Your responsibilities will involve assisting in the implementation, and maintenance of compliance protocols tailored to meet regulatory requirements. By conducting assessments and analysis, you will contribute to identifying and addressing compliance risks, fostering a culture of integrity and transparency within the organization.

**Regulatory Compliance Support**:

- Stay updated on regulatory developments, guidelines, and requirements issued by VARA and other relevant authorities, assisting in interpreting and communicating these requirements to relevant stakeholders.
- Support the maintenance of compliance monitoring programs, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory obligations.
- Assist in conducting assessments, testing, and analysis of key performance and risk indicators to monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, including those mandated by VARA.
- Compliance Training Assistance:

- Support in organizing and conducting training sessions and workshops to educate employees on compliance policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, with a focus on regulations issued by VARA and other relevant regulatory authorities.
- Contribute to fostering a culture of compliance and integrity throughout the organization by aiding in promoting awareness and understanding of regulatory obligations set forth by VARA and other relevant regulatory authorities.

**Risk Management Assistance**:

- Assist in identifying compliance risks and vulnerabilities within the organization, particularly in relation to regulations issued by VARA, and aid in developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Support the implementation of robust risk assessment frameworks to evaluate and manage compliance risks effectively, in alignment with guidelines issued by VARA.
- Collaborate with other departments to address compliance-related issues and aid in implementing risk mitigation measures in line with regulations issued by VARA.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or related fields within the financial services industry.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to cryptocurrency exchanges is advantageous.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey compliance concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, prioritize tasks, and assist in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
