A Revenue & Reservations Manager in a luxury hotel plays a critical role in maximizing revenue through strategic pricing, inventory management and accurate forecasting. The role requires a proactive approach, a strategic mindset, and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments to drive revenue and ensure guest satisfaction in a luxury hotel environment

The Revenue & Reservations Manager is responsible for implementing effective revenue management strategies to optimize room revenue and ensure optimal utilization of the hotel's accommodation capacity. The position oversees reservations operations, manages inventory, and analyses market trends to adjust pricing strategies. This role requires strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and a focus on guests satisfaction.

Specifically, as Revenue & Reservations Manager, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Develop and implement revenue management strategies and daily pricing recommendations to optimize room revenue.
- Analyze historical trends and current demand data to produce accurate forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
- Monitor competitor rates, market trends, and adjust pricing and distribution strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams on promotional strategies and ensure rate parity across all distribution channels.
- Manage the Reservations team, ensuring high service standards and seamless guest booking experience.
- Maintain accurate room inventory, ensuring availability across all channels and preventing overbooking.
- Manage group blocks and monitor release dates to optimize occupancy levels.
- Oversee the distribution of rates and availability across various channels to maximize exposure and booking conversion.
- Ensure that all third-party websites display accurate room information, rates, and availability.
- Regularly audit distribution channels for content accuracy, rate parity, and availability.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue and occupancy reports for higher management.
- Analyze booking patterns and occupancy trends to adjust forecasts and pricing as needed.
- Review performance metrics (e.g., ADR, RevPAR, and occupancy rates) and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Work closely with the Front Office, Sales, and Marketing teams to align on guest satisfaction and revenue goals.
- Train the reservations team on upselling techniques and ensure they are equipped with the necessary tools to maximize revenue while enhancing guest experiences.
- Ensure Team Members have current knowledge for all relevant processes, policies and promotions, as necessary, to perform their duties
- Manage Team Members performance in compliance with company policies and procedure.
- Recruit, manage, train and develop the Revenue Team

- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Revenue Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a luxury hotel environment, with a focus on revenue management or reservations.
- Knowledge of local market
- Proficiency in revenue management systems (e.g., Opera, SynXis, IDeaS) and Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of online distribution channels and revenue management best practices.
