**MECHANICAL FOREMAN**

**Minimum Qualifications**: ITI/ Diploma/ Certification in automation or mechanical engineering

**Minimum Experience**:8 to 10 years in the marine repairs field

**Job-Specific Skills**:

- Around 8 year’s relevant experience, 5 of which should be in a lead position.
- Experience in the marine sector in a project execution.
- Ability to technically and commercially interpret contracts or Class rule and international standard requirement.
- Marine/ Ship repair Safety training.
- Must have hands on experience of working on :Main engine/Auxiliary engine, installation, commissioning, troubleshoot & overhaul of 2 stroke and 4 stroke engines,
- Installation, commissioning, troubleshoot & overhaul of auxiliary engine,
- Adjustment, timing, firing sequence of engines
- Troubleshooting and Overhauling of Valves, pumps, heat exchangers and coolers.
- Troubleshooting and overhaul of deck machineries
- Troubleshooting and overhaul of propulsion systems.
- Performance management & process improvement skills/experience.
