Cosmetic Trained Nurse will provide a range of non-invasive cosmetic procedures such as cosmetic injectables and dermal therapies. They offer clients services independently, however such treatments are provided under the supervision of a Dermatologist.

This position is responsible for rendering professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit of the Medical Center, such nursing care is an integral part of the total patient care plan. Working in conjunction with the medical staff and according to policies and procedures of the Center. This will be in keeping with the accepted principles of professional nursing practice.

**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Establishes priorities of care, nursing actions and desired outcomes in a timely manner.

2. Performs nursing duties within scope of practice.

3. Good knowledge of contemporary Cosmetic Nursing practices.

4. Demonstrates good communication skills, interacts effectively with patients, visitors and other staff.

5. Keeps own knowledge/skills current.

6. Attends meetings and training regularly.

7. Follows hospital policies and procedures.

8. Policy variances should be reported immediately as per the organization policy.

9. Maintains a professional demeanor.

10. Fosters a climate of mutual understanding, and appreciation of cross-cultural differences inherent in multicultural society and client base.

11. Participates in Unit Specific Quality Audits of Improvement initiatives as directed.

12. Maintain professional licensure as required by Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and country of origin.

13. Acts as Shift in charge as required.

14. Maintains portfolio up to date.

15. Participate in continuous quality improvement of the Center as and when required and any other work assigned by the HOD within the scope of the job.

**DEPARTMENT SPECIALIZED RESPONSIBILITIES**:
16. Records medical history and symptoms.

17. Monitor patient health and record signs.

18. Administer medications and treatments.

19. Operate medical equipment.

20. Perform diagnostic tests.

21. Administers Botox injections, chemical peels, dermal fillers, and other non-invasive cosmetic procedures.

22. Consults with screening, and scheduling patients.

23. Assists the Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon during various cosmetic procedures.

24. Prepares and sterilizes instruments and operating rooms.

25. IV Drips.

26. Body Piercing.

**EDUCATION**
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.
- Western educated and trained.
- Valid current National license/country of origin.

**EXPERIENCE**
- Previous working experience as Cosmetic Nurse in Aesthetic Clinic 3 Year (s)
- Certified proof of yearly CME.

**LANGUAGE SKILLS**

English and Arabic (preferred)

**SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
- Effective communications skills
- Must possess skills to maintain proper therapeutic relationship
- Computer skills
- Confident and competent to attend all the cases
- Through knowledge and skills to practice.
- Critical thinking ability

Currently licensed in country of origin.

Valid DHA/HAAD UAE license as RN.
