As a Junior Accountant at Costalina Ship Management, you will play a vital role in managing the company's financial transactions and records through accounting software books. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Record day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting software.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of entries.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Support in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Assist with audits and compliance activities.
- Collaborate with other teams to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
- Keep abreast of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Perform other ad-hoc accounting tasks as required.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance (fresh graduates with relevant internships may also be considered).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software (mention specific software if applicable).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Familiarity with shipping or logistics industry.
- Understanding of UAE accounting and tax regulations.
- Certification or progress towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CMA, or CPA).

**Salary**: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
