**PURPOSE OF JOB**
The main purpose of the role is to ensure an unforgettable and sustainable experience for the guests in Pura Vida Eco Retreat. The responsibilities include various aspects of guest service, front office operation, dining, and recreation activities, creating an unforgettable memory for the guests.
**MAIN DUTIES**
**Guest Reception**
- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanour upon arrival
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately
- Provide information about the retreat, desert activities and eco-friendly initiatives.
- Manage reservation records and guest profiles
**Guest Service**
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concern promptly and professionally
- Maintain a deep understanding of the retreat’s amenities, services, and offerings
- Assist guest in arranging activities, tours, and transportation
- Assist guest with menu selections, explaining desert-themed specialities, and offering recommendation.
- Provide support to the guest during recreational activities, addressing any questions or concerns.
**Dining Area Management**
- Set up dining area for service, including arranging tables and chairs
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area
**Menu Knowledge**
- Work closely with kitchen employees to ensure seamless service.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the menu including ingredients, preparation, and presentation
- Answering guest's queries about dietary restrictions, allergens, and special requests.
**Inventory Control**
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking food and beverage spoil
- Report any shortages or issues to the appropriate supervisor
- Maintain and monitor inventory recreational equipment, ensuring it is in good condition
**Activity Planning and Execution**
- Plan and organize a variety of recreational activities
- Coordinate activities schedules to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently
- Accommodate guest request for specific activities or time slot to the best of the ability
- Lead activities, ensuring guest safety and enjoyment
**Cash Handling and Billing**
- Handle cash and credit card transactions and other payment methods accurately.
- Prepare and present guest bills ensuring transparency and accuracy.
- Handle bill details for the guest throughout their stay
**Guest Relation**
- Build a positive relationship with the guest by ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
- Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, involving management when necessary.
**Safety and Security**
- Ensure safety and security of the guests by monitoring access to the retreat and following safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and follow food safety protocols.
- Provide clear instructions to the guest before and during recreational activities
- Handle emergency situations calmly and adhere to security and safety regulations.

- Greet guests with a friendly and inviting demeanor upon arrival, communicate the details of the stays including recreational activities and food and beverage preferences.

- Tailor recommendations and assistance to each guest’s unique preferences and needs
**Be Knowledgeable**
Share insight about Pura Eco System and heritage culture of the place to the guest
**JOB SPECIFICATION**
**Qualifications**:
- High school Diploma or Hospitality Management degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, culinary arts, or related field
**Experience**
- 1-2 years industry experience in hotel, restaurant environment and recreational facilities.
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service or related fields is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of reservation system and guest check-in/check-out process is a plus
- Understanding of dietary restriction and food safety practices
- Physical stamina is significant.
- Cash handling and cashiering experience is an advantage
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Al-Ayn: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
