**Purpose and objectives of the role**
- To provide appropriate support to clients in accordance with therapists, psychologist, or nurses instructions
- To answer the phone when required and ensure all messages are passed on to relevant colleagues
- Support the team to deliver care that helps improve the health and wellbeing of the individual, demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect, and dignity
- Be aware and able to recognise emergency situations including first aid and responding to fire safety
- To perform overnight duties according to weekly rotas
- To meet key service objectives in line with Ciconia Recovery Ltd UAE policies, procedures, and data collection systems.
- To communicate Ciconia Recovery Ltd UAE vision and deliver its mission.

**Main duties and responsibilities**
- Assists senior staff with the assessment and implementation of individual client treatment plans undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed to facilitate the wellbeing, dignity and treatment of all clients
- Observes and monitors the wellbeing of clients ensuring that any unusual physical, mental, or emotional occurrences are promptly referred to senior staff and documented as appropriate.
- Provide specific interventions with clients as delegated by therapists, psychologists and nurses, and following training and competency attainment.
- Escorting clients on leave or on external visits following training and competency attainment
- Being involved in de-escalation and management of violence and aggression following training and competency attainment
- Contribute to a team approach to client care in conjunction with all members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Undertake administrative and clerical tasks associated with client care to facilitate the smooth running of the service
- Develop own competence to deliver effective care and treatment through improving clinical/technical knowledge/skill, and expertise
- To be aware of your responsibilities in relation to safeguarding
- Participate in regular meetings as requested.
- To assist in the maintenance of stock levels, including pharmaceutical products.
- To assist in the maintenance of cleanliness and tidiness and adhere to infection control policy and procedures at all times.
- Develops and maintains a good professional relationship with clients, colleagues and visitors responding promptly and courteously to requests and enquiries.
- To receive and convey information from telephone or personal enquiries in a courteous manner and ensure all persons visiting are greeted and assisted in a welcoming and supportive manner.
- To maintain records and to write shift notes and to organisational standards in a timely manner.
- To utilise a flexible approach and where required participate in activities and tasks which directly respond to client needs.
- To uphold all Ciconia Recovery Ltd UAE policies and procedures and actively promote equality of opportunity in the course of your work.
- To maintain a safe and welcoming environment ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to.
- To test clients for the presence of drug and alcohol as required
- Ensure regular consultation with clients takes place and promote their equality, diversity, and rights
- To contribute positively to relevant internal and external forums.
- To collaborate effectively with partner agencies and bring a proactive approach to partnership work.
- To support the other members of the team in the delivery and development of the therapeutic programme and ensure that the programme is adhered to.
- To ensure professional and ethical practice is adhered to.
- To undertake regular supervision
- To undertake any other duties as instructed by senior managers

**Special Requirements**
- Work flexibly within agreed hours to maintain the level of service provision.
- Remain awake if doing waking night
- Participate in regular training, supervision, and appraisal to improve performance.
- Keep abreast of developments in services, legislation, and practice relevant to the client group.
- Ensure confidentiality is always adhered to, only releasing confidential information obtained during the course of employment to those acting in an official capacity.
- Complete a satisfactory PPC Check

**Salary**: AED6,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
