We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our team at Royal Hotel Sharjah. As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring their stay begins on a positive note. Your exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail will contribute to creating a memorable experience for our guests.
**Responsibilities**:
Greet guests with a warm and welcoming attitude, ensuring a positive first impression.
Check-in and check-out guests efficiently, providing accurate information about the hotel's services, facilities, and local attractions.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, resolving issues to the best of your ability.
Manage reservations and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the booking process.
Coordinate with other hotel departments to meet guest needs and provide a seamless experience.
Maintain a neat and organized reception area, ensuring it is presentable at all times.
Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions.
Collaborate with the housekeeping staff to ensure guest rooms are prepared and maintained to the highest standards.
Assist in administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.
**Qualifications**:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or a related field is a plus.
Proven experience as a receptionist, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Professional and courteous demeanor with a strong focus on customer service.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in using hotel management software and standard office software.
Flexible schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
