Must be able to recognize cardiac and vascular anatomy and physiology
- Performs echo-Doppler studies
- Calls for service and describes the problem on the system
- Under direct supervision of the Specialist Cardiologist,
- the Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for accurately performing echocardiograms on all patients including infants, adolescents and adults
- Scheduling patients for cardiac ultrasonic diagnostic procedures
- Performs and analyzes diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations on adults and adolescents
- Responsible for obtaining pertinent diagnostic laboratory test results for physicians and to optimize the examWill keep vans clean and be courteous to other drivers
- Perform STRESS TEST procedure to know how well the heart works under stress
- Knowledgable about Holter monitoring.
