**Job Summary**:
The General Trading Market Employee plays a key role in supporting day-to-day operations in the trading business, assisting with inventory management, customer service, product handling, and sales. This role requires excellent communication skills, knowledge of trading practices, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Receive, inspect, and manage incoming products, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Organize and maintain stock levels, ensuring products are well-displayed and easy to access.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in stock-taking activities.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to order new stock as required.
- **Customer Service**:

- Assist customers with product inquiries, providing detailed product information and advice.
- Process customer transactions efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments.
- Address customer complaints and resolve issues in a polite and professional manner.
- Develop relationships with repeat customers and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- **Sales Support**:

- Promote and upsell products to customers, providing recommendations based on their needs.
- Assist with product demonstrations, promotions, and in-store events.
- Monitor market trends and customer preferences, providing feedback to the management team.
- Prepare sales reports, tracking daily sales figures and product performance.
- **Product Handling & Display**:

- Ensure products are correctly labeled and priced.
- Arrange products on shelves, making sure displays are neat, organized, and appealing.
- Handle product packaging and shipping if required, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- **Operational Support**:

- Assist with opening and closing the store or trading office as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring health and safety standards are met.
- Perform basic administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and data entry.
- **Market Knowledge**:

- Stay up-to-date with general trading trends, market demands, and product knowledge.
- Learn about competitors’ offerings and pricing, reporting this information to the management.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
- **Experience**: Experience in retail, trading, or a similar role is beneficial.
- **Skills**:

- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic understanding of trading practices and market dynamics.
