**Tailoring Shop Supervisor**

Roles & Responsibilities

Tailoring Shop Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing the shop floor ensuring efficient operations and high-quality tailoring services. The supervisor should identify opportunities to promote business, improve section sales, and enhance customer satisfaction through effective leadership and strategic initiatives.

Operational Management:

- Supervise day-to-day operations of the tailoring section, ensuring timely and accurate completion of alterations.
- Coordinate with tailors and support staff to maintain a smooth workflow and efficient production process.
- Conduct home visit for additional tailoring services
- Monitor inventory levels of tailoring supplies and materials, placing orders as needed & do market visits.

Customer Satisfaction:

- Interact with customers to understand their tailoring needs and preferences and take measurements and payments.
- Ensure a high standard of customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve services.

Sales and Promotion:

- Develop and implement strategies to promote the tailoring shop and increase sales.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the customer base.

Quality Control:

- Establish and enforce quality control measures to ensure the highest standard of tailoring services.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products to guarantee they meet standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the tailoring or alterations industry.
- Strong understanding of tailoring techniques, fabrics, and garment construction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sales and customer service-oriented mindset.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Familiarity with industry trends and market dynamics.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control.
- Education and Experience:

- High school diploma required; additional education or certification in tailoring or related field is a plus.
- Several years of experience in tailoring, alterations, or a similar role.
- Prior supervisory or managerial experience preferred.

**Salary**: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
