**Key Details**:

**Position Summary**:
As the PMO Lead, you will oversee the implementation of all initiatives (referred to as “unlocks”) across internal and external stakeholders. Your primary responsibilities will include managing project timelines, raise issues, and maintaining clear lines of communication to ensure each unlock is executed successfully and aligned with strategic objectives. This role requires strong project governance skills, an ability to drive collaboration across multiple teams, and the foresight to identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure program success.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Program Oversight and Governance**
- Ensure implementation leads have a clear project with detailed milestones, timelines and completion KPIs.
- Establish and maintain a structured framework to oversee the implementation of all unlocks across both internal and external stakeholders.
- Implement program governance practices, including status reporting, risk management, steerco and other reporting and escalation processes.

**2. Cross-functional Coordination and Support**
- Facilitate collaboration between project teams, government departments, external entities, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
- Provide guidance and resources to support implementation leads and project managers across various teams.
- Coordinate cross-departmental meetings to align on progress, identify interdependencies, and resolve conflicts.

**3. Risk Management and Issue Resolution**
- Identify potential risks and bottlenecks across all projects early in the process, and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
- Track and manage project issues and deviations, ensuring effective resolution in line with program objectives.
- Ensure proper escalation of critical issues to senior management and propose solutions where appropriate.

**4. Performance Tracking and Reporting**
- Establish a reporting cadence to track the progress of each unlock and communicate updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Analyze program data to assess the effectiveness and impact of each unlock, making recommendations for improvement.
- Compile insights, lessons learned, and best practices to enhance program delivery and inform future initiatives.

**5. Continuous Improvement and Capacity Building**
- Lead efforts to refine project management processes, tools, and templates to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the Economic Acceleration Unit.
- Ensure that outcomes from each unlock are documented to guide future economic acceleration initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Public Policy, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably within the public sector or in multi-stakeholder environments.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of program management frameworks, project governance, and performance metrics.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high attention to detail.
