Architecture Instructor

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct lectures, seminars, and practical sessions on architectural theory, design principles, and architectural engineering topics such as contractual documents, material selection, acoustics, urban planning, and landscape design.
- Develop and deliver engaging course materials that align with the curriculum objectives and learning outcomes.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students on their architectural projects and assignments, integrating architectural engineering theory and practice.
- Foster a collaborative and interactive learning environment that promotes critical thinking and creativity, while addressing diverse student backgrounds and learning styles.
- Stay updated on current trends, advancements, and best practices in architecture and architectural engineering through research and professional development activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall academic program, contribute to curriculum development initiatives, and promote interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
- Participate in faculty meetings, academic committees, and other institutional activities as required, contributing to strategic planning and continuous improvement efforts.
- Engage in academic advising and mentorship to support students' academic and professional growth, with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
- Contribute to the assessment and evaluation of student learning outcomes, including grading assignments, projects, and examinations, while promoting a culture of academic integrity and excellence.

**Qualifications**:

- A degree in architectural engineering (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated expertise in architectural engineering theory, practice, and technology, with a focus on areas such as contractual documents, material selection, acoustics, urban planning, and landscape design.
- Prior teaching experience at the university level, with a track record of delivering effective instruction, mentoring students, and promoting active learning.
- Professional licensure or certification in architectural engineering, architecture, or related disciplines (preferred).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and industry partners.
