**Position Overview**:
We are looking for an experienced Car Electrician with expertise in automotive electronics, wiring, and audio systems to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance for our customers' vehicles. The Car Electrician will be responsible for diagnosing electrical issues, installing aftermarket accessories, and ensuring the proper functioning of vehicle electronics, including music systems, lighting, and other electronic components.
**Responsibilities**:
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and components in vehicles, including wiring harnesses, switches, relays, and connectors.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in vehicles, using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify the root cause of problems.
- Install aftermarket accessories and upgrades, such as audio systems, navigation systems, security alarms, and lighting enhancements.
- Ensure the proper installation and integration of electronic components, including head units, amplifiers, speakers, subwoofers, and sound processors.
- Perform wiring modifications and customizations to accommodate aftermarket accessories and electronic upgrades.
- Test and calibrate electronic systems to ensure they meet performance specifications and customer requirements.
- Provide recommendations to customers regarding the selection of electronic components and accessories based on their preferences and vehicle specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and industry standards for electrical work.
- Stay informed about new automotive technologies, electronic systems, and aftermarket products to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure timely completion of projects and customer satisfaction.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Car Electrician or Automotive Technician specializing in electrical systems, with a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in automotive electronics, including wiring diagrams, circuitry, and diagnostic procedures.
- Proficiency in installing and configuring aftermarket audio systems, including head units, speakers, amplifiers, subwoofers, and sound processors.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical tools and equipment, such as multimeters, circuit testers, and soldering irons.
- Attention to detail and precision in performing electrical installations and modifications to ensure quality and reliability.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
