Are you a talented and experienced Lead Design Architect looking for a new and exciting opportunity in the UAE?

We are looking for a creative and innovative architect to join our clients team in Abu Dhabi and help them deliver some of the most exciting and innovative projects in the region.

**As a Lead Design Architect, you will be responsible for**:

- Leading and inspiring a team of highly skilled architects and designers
- Developing and presenting building concept designs
- Overseeing the entire design process from initial sketches to construction documentation
- Collaborating with clients, engineers, contractors, and consultants to translate design concepts into feasible and sustainable architectural solutions
- Staying abreast of emerging trends, materials, and technologies in the architectural field
- Conducting site visits and providing expert guidance during the construction phase
- Acting as a key representative of our firm, fostering strong relationships with clients
- Providing support and design leadership for other GHD offices

**To be a successful Lead Design Architect, you will need to have**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 12- 15 years of experience in design architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong design skills, with a focus on innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing design solutions
- Proven experience as a lead architect, showcasing a portfolio of successfully executed architectural projects
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Extensive knowledge of local / International building codes, regulations, and construction practices
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team of architects and designers
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex design concepts to diverse stakeholders
- A keen eye for detail, an unwavering commitment to quality, and an aptitude for problem-solving
- Focus on client experience and understanding of client needs
- Able to direct several jobs at once and determine priorities
- Understand and adhere to GHD’s values, Codes of Conduct, and Policies
