Commis I - Bakery at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre

A Commis I - Bakery at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre ensure complete guest satisfaction by providing an excellent standard of food in a competent and professional manner. Must always strive to obtain maximum efficiency and promote teamwork, within and outside of the department.**What will I be doing?**

As a Commis I - Bakery at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, you will be responsible for upholding the highest quality standards for the food and beverage operations inside of our restaurants, bars, banquets, in-hotel cafes, and to fulfill room service requests. You will work with your Team Members to deliver a high quality service experience that exceeds customer expectations through the following tasks:

- Basic dough preparation
- To ensure high productivity and standards of bread making and baking are maintained at all times.
- Preparation of French pastry, cakes, tarts and bread.
- Control sweets required as per standard items in all food outlets.
- Responsible to check and taste the quality of food in outlets as well as fridges and freezes.
- Assist in requisitioning of food to kitchen.
- Serve service personnel with their orders.
- Assist the Pastry Chef in the performance of his/her duties.
- Anticipate guest's needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates.
- Undertake any additional duties as requested by the Pastry Chef, Executive Chef or Hotel Management.
