To support directly the Chef de Partie or Demi Chef in the daily operation and work.
- Ensure required mis-en-place is complete prior to the outlets opening hours.
- Maintain the set standards during the production, food service and presentation is to be strictly followed at all the times and for all the outlets.
- Attends all required departmental briefing and meetings.
- Ensure to follow the duty roster and be punctual on each shift
- Ensure that the HACCP files are updated on a daily basis.
- Daily monitoring of the fridges and chillers for spoilages.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues to the Chef de Partie / Sous Chef.
- Attends all hotel trainings as required.
- Adheres to all HR and hotel policies and procedures.
- Continually strives to improve self; knowledge and skills.
- Contributes to achievement of maintaining food costs as per budget and to minimize food wastage and spoilage.
- Actively participate in all hotel energy saving and recycling initiatives.
- Ensure that the appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniform and appearance are maintained at all times.
- Strictly follows the hotel System Program, including the cleanliness of all restaurants, personal hygiene standards for all food handlers and monthly Hygiene Audits. (Please refer to HACCP Hygiene and Sanitation.)
- Strictly adheres to the hotel’s Policy on Confidentiality and Ethics.
- To carry out any additional tasks and projects as requested by the Sous Chef.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sharjah: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
