**JOB PURPOSE**: To conduct development and maintenance of project schedules, resources, and costs utilizing project controls best practices in line with customer's requirements.

**RESPONSIBLE TO**: Operations Manager

**KEY INTERFACES**: Project Manager/s/ Engineers, Client's Representative

**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**: Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and relevan training - Knowledgeable in planning & and scheduling with Primavera P6 or MS Project Fundamental knowledge in cost management and planning/scheduling/ Risk Management is a plus Certification in Project Control Cost Engineering or Project management is a plus

**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**: With multi-discipline project control experience, Plant Construction experience, and know-how on the plant side is a must

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:Establish and prepare sequence of engineering tasks for eact projectproduct, by interpreting related drawings, technical method statements, and built sequence.
- Establish appropriate techniques for the execution of engineering tasks for construction/operation, and develop detailed schedule of engineering works utilizing Primavera, MS Project and MS Excel.
- Quantiftying the scope of project and calculating the quantum of work or steel structure, piping, mechanical equipment installation, coating and other disciplines.
- Calculate resources required for the execution of engineering tasks and establish histograms for manpower and equipments. Establish each project's organization chart (management staff) and integrate OBS Organization Breakdown structure with WBS - Work 3reakdown structure, for optimum allocation of work. Establish equipment capacity requirements in the project and develop overall equipments' mobilization schedule.
- Develop each project's controls procedure and specification, including process flow from the outset of engineering activities up-to their completions in-line with customer requirements, applicable engineering standards and good engineering practices. Establish and maintain front nd document management system, integrate internally and externally with customers. Conduct scheduled audits and favor improvements.
- Establish manufacturability and constructability reports by interpreting and analyzing project 3D models, and develop sequence of construction/operation. Besides develop optimum fabrication yard utilization layouts in terms of each project's construction timeline for efficient use of facility resources.
- Assign target productivities (budgeted) for detailed scope of work, monitor actual productivities during execution and perform statistical analysis to either recommend improvement or revise budgeted productivities and estimation database.
- Conduct scheduled audit to ensure project controls procedures are adhered to and adjust for improvement. Identify area where procedural process could be improved and devise strategies accordingly.
- Supervise project controls team and provide technical advice and support on the development of specific systems, sequence of works and in calculating estimates.
- Calculate cost estimate for each project and control actual costs against the budget.
- Prepare project and overall facility reports in terms of weekly, monthly performances for all engineering projects, and devise strategies for improvement of productivity and efficiency
- Identify any additional project work or site instruction, prepare sequence, establish cost, and raise additional work order claims.
- Provide functional support to business development department during tender stage, for projects' sequence of works and resource estimation. Establish preliminary lifting / rigging study to calculate quipment requirements and their expected costs. Establish project organization structure, task force histograms, and equipment mobilization schedules.
- Ensures compliance with Company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Systems

**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**: Ensures that all activities are performed within the provisions of the Integrated Management System requirements Communicates and coordinate with other departments/sections to ensure continuity of work process
