Minimum : 6 years of experience in pouring and furnace operations

1. Prepare Equipment:
a. Set up and prepare the pouring area, ensuring that all equipment, molds, and tools are in proper working order.
b. Inspect molds for defects and make any necessary repairs or adjustments.
2. Safety Protocols:
a. Adhere to strict safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
b. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure the team follows safety procedures.
3. Metal Preparation:
a. Operate furnaces and other equipment to melt metal to the specified temperature.
b. Monitor and adjust the temperature and composition of the molten metal as needed.
4. Pouring Process:
a. Pour molten metal into molds with precision and accuracy, ensuring proper filling and minimizing defects.
b. Collaborate with other foundry team members to coordinate the pouring process effectively.
5. Quality Control:
a. Inspect castings for defects, such as air bubbles or incomplete fills, and take corrective actions as needed.
b. Work with quality control personnel to meet product specifications and quality standards.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance:
a. Clean and maintain equipment and work areas to ensure optimal performance.
b. Perform routine maintenance on pouring equipment and report any malfunctions or issues.
7. Documentation:
a. Maintain accurate records of production activities, including the types and quantities of metal poured.
