Job Title: Mechanical Draughtsman

Location: Sharjah, United Arab Emirates

Experience: Minimum 5 years in mechanical drafting or related field

**Job Description**:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Drafting Technical Drawings**: Create accurate and detailed technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks. These drawings may include plans, elevations, sections, and detailed views.
- **Interpretation of Specifications**: Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications to ensure that the final drawings accurately represent the intended design and functionality of the product or system.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand project requirements and incorporate design changes as necessary.
- **Quality Assurance**: Ensure that all drawings meet quality standards, adhere to industry regulations, and comply with company guidelines.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation. Organize and manage drawing files in a systematic manner for easy retrieval and reference.
- **Problem-solving**: Identify and resolve technical issues or discrepancies in drawings, and communicate effectively with project stakeholders to find suitable solutions.
- **Deadline Management**: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to project deadlines. Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical drafting. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and optimization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting Technology, or related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar programs.
- Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical drafting or a similar role.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
