Job Overview:
As the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), you will be responsible for developing and executing the company's marketing strategy. You will build the company's brand and generate leads by creating messaging that resonates with students, parents, and educators. You will collaborate with other teams to ensure that our marketing efforts are aligned with our product development and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company's marketing strategy, including lead generation, branding, and content creation
- Build and manage the marketing team, including hiring and training
- Collaborate with the product and technology teams to ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with product development and business goals
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
- Manage relationships with external partners, including agencies and vendors
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, and adjust strategies as necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive lead generation and revenue growth
- Experience in the education industry and/or EdTech is preferred
- Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop high-performing teams
