They are responsible for coordinating and managing various aspects of the production process to ensure timely delivery of high-quality garments that meet customer requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Product Development**: Collaborate with designers and buyers to understand design concepts and translate them into feasible production plans. Work closely with design and development teams to develop prototypes and samples.
- **Sourcing and Procurement**: Identify reliable suppliers for raw materials, trims, and accessories required for garment production. Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely procurement of materials.
- **Costing and Budgeting**: Prepare cost sheets and calculate the cost of materials, labor, and overheads involved in garment production. Analyze costs to determine pricing strategies that align with budgetary constraints and profitability targets.
- **Production Planning and Coordination**: Develop production schedules and timelines in collaboration with production managers and supervisors. Monitor production progress, address any issues or delays, and ensure adherence to quality standards and delivery deadlines.
- **Quality Control**: Implement and enforce quality control measures throughout the production process to maintain consistent product quality. Conduct inspections and quality checks at various stages of production to identify and rectify defects or discrepancies.
