About The Role Our Solutions Architect Web 3.0 will architect, design and communicate high-level structural and behavioural aspects of a system to enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs in alignment with corporate IT standards and architecture guiding principles. This necessitates engagement throughout the lifecycle of projects by taking full responsibility for the solution architecture. Our Solutions Architect Web 3.0 will: - Have experience with architecture and design of scalable, performant & robust DApp solutions on Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) blockchain(s). - Provide technical leadership on best practices and Web3 enterprise architecture, with tech skills as: Blockchain, Wallets Development, Web3, NFT, understanding fundamentals of blockchain infrastructure. - Provide technical & architectural guidance to Web2/Web3 partners and help design and develop the optimized strategies by deploying the right architecture. - Identify and implement the most appropriate programming languages and frameworks leading to effective Web3/Blockchain/Metaverse solutions. What You’ll Be Expected To Do: - Develop optimal, fit for purpose and aligned IT architecture solutions that meet customer requirements. Ensure architecture is robust, appropriate and of high quality conforming to corporate IT standards and roadmaps. Take accountability for the end-to-end architecture, including architecture and technology decisions. - Develop Enterprise Architecture standards and guidelines in the information, application and technology domains. Work closely with Manager Enterprise Architecture and other peer architects in the development of technology advancements and adaptation of new technologies and patterns. - Continuously monitor industry trends, identify and evaluate technologies & tools that are relevant for the business. Showcase business value by executing Proof of Concepts by engaging relevant IT teams. - Establish policy, guidelines and strategy for the selection of system components and their designs. Assess solution designs to ensure they effectively use architectural patterns and adhere to the guidelines. Promote reuse of solutions, platforms and services. Contribute to enterprise architecture repository. - Guide, mentor, and motivate the development team members in adopting good engineering practices, tools, and techniques throughout the development process. In addition, advise and support team members to overcome technical challenges by providing expert consultancy and coaching. - Conduct deep dive architecture reviews of vendor products as part of selection and other critical production applications together with Software Engineeting development teams. Provide architecuture recommendations for the short and long-term improvement of applications. - Develop logical infrastructure solutions in alignment with the technology standards. Work closely with infrastructure teams to ensure that the physical infrastructure designed meets project requirements, Work together, oversee and govern the development to ensure design and implementation done by the development team are in line with the proposed architecture definition. Work closely with quality engineering team to ensure that final solution meets the agreed non-functional requirements. - Collaborate closely with Manager Enterprise Architects to ensure alignment of information, application and technology architecture to the overall architecture principles, framework and guidelines. - Own, manage and maintain the architecture roadmap and runways of small to medium size initiatives, products, environments and/or platforms. Act as a product owner and be accountable for proactively identifying, prioritizing, and overseeing the development of technical enablers, technical debts, quality improvements, and application modernization activities. - Drive architecture decisions and be accountable for their implications in regard to solution costs, delivery schedules, application complexity, technical debt and overall solution performance.
