**The accountant’s responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account**
**reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations.**
**And supports the Finance Manager with other accounting duties as assigned.**
**This position supports the smooth and efficient running of the Accounting Department.**

**Responsibilities**:
**? To Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports.**
**? To prepare tax returns.**
**? To Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general**
**ledger accounts, and document business transactions.**
**? To Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control**
**procedures.**
**? To Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.**
**? To Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting**
**documents.**
**? To Review the monthly salaries and commission payments to ensure compliance with company**
**guidelines and procedures**
**? To Work closely with external auditors for the preparation of the audits. And ensure that all required**
**reports and details are provided to finalize the audit on time.**
**? To Explain billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors and clients. To Resolve**
**accounting discrepancies.**
**? To Recommend, develop and maintain financial databases, computer software systems and**
**manual filing systems.**
**? To Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's automated**
**financial systems.**
**? To Develop the annual operating budget and consult with departmental management on the**
**fiscal aspects of program planning, salary recommendations, and other administrative actions.**
**? To show consideration of the department’s requirements for flexible working hours when working**
**demands arise.**
**? To perform other duties as assigned by Management.**

**Requirements**:
**Education: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting**
**Minimum Experience: 5 years’ experience working in accounting in UAE**

**Required Skills**:

- **Oil & Gas Industry is preferred, but not required**:

- **Good Knowledge and practical experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central & Computerized**

**Finance software**
- **Holds a chartered accountant certificate**:

- **Strong communication skills, both verbal and written**:

- **Hands on experience with Microsoft Office**:

- **Attention to detail, able to handle multi task and to work independently**:

- **Good organizational and time-management skills; strong analytical skills**:

- **Good knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures**:

- **Familiar with UAE Labor laws**:

- **Solid networking and interpersonal skills**:

- **Creative thinking skills and ability to solve problems**:

- **UAE Driving License / Personal Car (Preferably)**

**Age: Above 35 years old**
**Hiring Status: Single / Married**
**Type of contract: Limited Contract / Full time**
**Location: Main Office / Bank Visits**
**Working hours: Sunday to Friday - 8 AM TO 5 PM**
**However, based on the position the employee is expected to be flexible and work extended hours when**
**necessary.**:
