**Summary**:
We are currently recruiting for an Investment Advisory & Portfolio Management professional for a large UAE based Family Office. This role will require one to lead the development and maintenance of the Family’s IPS (Investment Policy Statement) and support its implementation into an investment program that encompasses the full strategic asset allocation (SAA) framework.
**Responsibilities**:
- Facilitate discussions to understand Family members’ financial goals, time horizons & risk
- Lead the development of a strategic asset allocation, balancing Family’s risk tolerance with its investment objectives
- Draft the Family’s IPS tailored to its unique needs, context and investment philosophy
- Facilitate collaborative discussions with Family and relevant stakeholders to refine the policy
- Collect & analyze information on current asset allocation, holdings, liquidity needs & work with investment team & external advisors to design & implement multi-asset portfolio that reflects the IPS
- Build relationships with best-in-class investment managers across various asset classes globally
- Identify target managers for first conversations to track and build relationships overtime
- Undertake detailed, multi factor performance-reviews of investments in the existing portfolio, balance risk and reward
- Report portfolio performance to Office leadership and the Board
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 6+ years of relevant professional experience post-Bachelors, within an OCIO, asset manager, endowment fund or institutional family office
- Experience in leading portfolio construction process for institutional clients (Family Office & Endowment preferred) through strategic asset allocation and multi-asset class manager selection
- Experience in alternative assets, as part of investment, asset management or internal value creation teams (in North America, or Europe)
- Exceptional analytical and research capabilities, including complex financial modeling to support decision-making
- MBA or CFA would be advantageous
