**Oracle DBA Responsibilities**
- Creates and maintains all databases required for development, testing, education and production usage.
- Performs the capacity planning required to create and maintain the databases.
- Performs database re-organizations as required to assist performance and ensure maximum uptime of the database.
- Install new versions of the Oracle RDBMS and its tools and any other tools that access the Oracle database.
- Plans and implements backup and recovery of the Oracle database.
- Controls migrations of programs, database changes, reference data changes and menu changes through the development life cycle.
- Implements and enforces security for all of the Oracle Databases.
- Evaluates releases of Oracle and its tools, and third-party products to ensure that the site is running the products that are most appropriate.
- Enforces and maintains database constraints to ensure integrity of the database.
- Administers all database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes,
- views, sequences, packages and procedures.
- Assists with impact analysis of any changes made to the database objects.
- Create new database users as required.
- Expertise in configuring and managing oracle RAC database.
- Expert Knowledge oracle Active Dataguard, hands on failover/switchover of database
- Experience in managing container DB.
- Advance level knowledge of Linux environment.
- Experience of handling of Very large DB and maintaining partitioning.
- Expert Knowledge of Performance tuning.

**Technologies**
- Oracle Database 10g, 11g, 12c, 19c
- Oracle Exadata
- Oracle Linux

**Experience**

Minimum 10 years of hand on experience on Oracle Database Administration and Linux / Unix

Certifications:

- Oracle Certified Professional 12c is must

**Preferable**:

- Oracle Certified Cloud Infrastructure Architect
- Oracle Certified Autonomous Database Specialists.

**Salary**: AED13,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Linux: 10 years (preferred)
- Oracle DBA: 10 years (preferred)
