- Set the insurance requirements needed to be collected for each risk and verify information collected.
- Analyze and assess client insurance needs and review all commercial lines slips and set the appropriate terms and conditions.
- Negotiate with insurers the terms and conditions of each policy / slip.
- Run RFPs and draft comparisons between different offers before submitting to clients.
- Monitor the whole quoting process with time limits.
- Verify the issued policies in line with company slips.
- Monitor the renewals in line with company policy and assign appropriate tasks to the technical team to handle renewals.
- Coach the technical team and answer queries and questions.
- Provide technical support to Business Development and assist them in presenting offers/proposals to clients.
- Handling and supervising commercial lines claims (opening claim files with insurance companies / collecting claim documents from clients / checking claims documents/ submitting the claim documents to insurance providers and following up on claim payment/ updating claims records).
- Stay abreast of the commercial lines marketplace including attendance at meetings and seminars and communicate with clients directly or through producers regarding new product offerings.
- Assist in participating in tenders.
- Work with producers, clients & commercial lines team members to understand the scope of the operations insured and review the insurance program and policy documents to ensure proper protection has been included or offered.

**Qualifications**:

- BA degree in business administration, insurance, finance, or any related field.
- More than 7 years of proven experience in the insurance industry, with Very Good knowledge of Commercial Lines Insurance products and insurance principles.
- Be accepted by the regulator whenever required.

**Skills and competencies**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented with ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional in using Microsoft Office suite.
- Proactive and client centric approach with a focus on delivering exceptional service.

**Experience**:

- Relevant: 6 years (preferred)
