**Key Responsibilities**
- **Supervision of Lifting Operations**:

- Oversee and direct all lifting operations, including rigging, hoisting, and handling of heavy loads.
- Ensure all lifting operations are executed safely and comply with ADNOC's health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards.
- Plan and manage lifting activities, including reviewing lift plans, risk assessments, and permits to work.
- Ensure appropriate selection and inspection of lifting equipment, such as cranes, slings, shackles, and other rigging gear.
- **Safety Management**:

- Conduct pre-lift meetings (toolbox talks) to communicate lift plans and safety measures to the team.
- Monitor lifting operations to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with ADNOC's safety procedures.
- Ensure that all personnel involved in lifting operations are adequately trained and competent.
- Implement emergency response procedures in case of lifting-related incidents.
- **Equipment Inspection & Maintenance**:

- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of lifting equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain records of equipment inspections, maintenance, and certifications.
- Report any defects or issues with lifting equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Prepare and maintain accurate records of lifting operations, including lift plans, permits, inspection reports, and incident reports.
- Provide reports to management on lifting activities, incidents, and safety performance.
- Assist in the investigation of lifting-related incidents and accidents.
- **Compliance & Regulations**:

- Ensure compliance with ADNOC’s policies, industry standards, and local regulations related to lifting operations.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in lifting regulations and best practices, and implement necessary changes in procedures.
- **Training & Development**:

- Provide training, guidance, and supervision to lifting personnel, including riggers and crane operators.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement among the team.
- Assist in the development of lifting procedures and training programs.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- **Education**: Diploma or technical qualification in Engineering, Safety, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in lifting operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry
- **Certifications**:

- Lifting Supervisor certification ( LEA)
- Valid certification in rigging and slinging operations.
- HSE certification ( NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) is an advantage.

**Key Skills & Competencies**
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging techniques, and lifting procedures.
- Familiarity with international lifting standards (e.g., BS 7121, API RP 2D).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting lift plans, load charts, and engineering drawings.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
