**Job Description**:
The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages to guests in the hotel's café, lounge, or restaurant. The role includes maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall guest experience by delivering beverages with consistency and skill.
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and specialty drinks, following standardized recipes and techniques.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to guests, taking orders accurately, answering questions about the menu, and offering recommendations.
- Process transactions using the point-of-sale system, handle cash and credit card payments, and ensure accurate billing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens. Stay informed about new products and promotions.
- Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other ingredients, and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
- Keep the work area, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitized. Ensure that the coffee machine and other equipment are maintained and in good working condition.
- Serve beverages with attention to detail, ensuring that each drink is presented attractively and meets the hotel's quality standards.
- Work closely with other F&B team members to ensure a seamless service experience for guests, including coordinating with kitchen staff and servers.
- Promote and upsell additional items such as pastries, snacks, and specialty beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of food and beverages, as well as hotel policies and procedures.

Desired Skill & Expertise:

- High school diploma or equivalent; barista training or certification is a plus.
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to stand for long periods, operate coffee machines and other equipment, and lift items such as boxes of supplies.
