The General Accountant plans and manages budgeting and financial forecasting and ensures the Company's financial decisions are based on solid, factual data.

**Responsibilities**:

- **_Accounting Operations: _**:

- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Manage and maintain documentation related to sales transactions, including contracts, agreements, and client correspondence, ensuring proper organization and confidentiality.
- Support document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- **_Financial Reporting and Planning: _**:

- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Prepare and distribute reports, sales summaries, and other administrative documents as required to support decision-making and record-keeping.

- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

- **Accounting Knowledge**: proficiency in general ledger functions, bookkeeping, and financial accounting standards, specifically GAAP.
- **Software Proficiency**: skill in the use of accounting software (QuickBooks, First Bit and Bitrix) and proficiency in MS Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
- **Data Analysis**: ability to interpret complex financial data and transform it into usable information for reporting and decision-making purposes.
