**Job Summary**: We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Computer/IT Teacher to join our educational institution in the United Arab Emirates. As a Computer/IT Teacher, you will have an exciting opportunity to educate and inspire students in the field of technology. Your role will involve equipping students with essential computer skills, fostering their digital literacy, and preparing them for the rapidly evolving world of technology.

You will develop and deliver engaging computer/IT lesson plans and activities that align with the UAE

Your responsibilities will include guiding students in developing digital research skills, effective information retrieval techniques, and critical thinking abilities. You will emphasize responsible and ethical use of technology, teaching students about cyber safety, privacy, and digital citizenship. Assessing and evaluating students' progress in computer/IT skills will be essential, providing feedback and support to enhance their learning outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Develop and deliver comprehensive computer/IT lesson plans and activities.

3. Facilitate hands-on learning experiences, allowing students to explore hardware, software, and technology tools in a practical setting.

4. Introduce programming languages and concepts, fostering students' logical thinking, problem
- solving skills, and creativity.

5. Incorporate emerging technologies and trends into instruction, keeping students abreast of the latest advancements in the field of computer science.

6. Guide students in developing digital research skills, effective information retrieval techniques, and critical thinking abilities.

7. Promote responsible and ethical use of technology, emphasizing cyber safety, privacy, and digital citizenship.

8. Assess and evaluate students' progress in computer/IT skills, providing feedback and support to enhance their learning outcomes.

**Qualifications**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

2. Valid teaching certification/license in Computer Science/IT Education from the UAE Ministry of

Education or an approved equivalent.

3. Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with at least 3 years in the UAE.

4. Familiarity with UAE Ministry of Education curriculum and guidelines.

5. Proficiency in English language is mandatory.

7. Familiarity with programming languages and concepts, such as Python, Java, HTML, and CSS.

8. Strong understanding of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and data analytics.

10. Adherence to professional ethics and a commitment to continuous professional development in computer science/IT education.

**Skills and Competencies**:
1. Strong instructional abilities, including the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.

2. Proficient coding skills and the ability to guide students in logical thinking and problem-solving.

3. Effective classroom management skills to create an engaging and productive learning environment.

4. Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.

6. Excellent organizational and time management skills to plan and deliver computer/IT lessons effectively.

7. Strong troubleshooting skills to support students with technical challenges during computer
- based activities.
