**Job Summary**:
As a General Practitioner (GP) at our home healthcare facility, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. You will be responsible for assessing patient's health, diagnosing medical conditions, prescribing treatments and coordinating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care. Your commitment to delivering patient-centered, compassionate care will be essential in improving the well-being and quality of life of our homebound patients.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Patient Assessment and Diagnosis**:Conduct thorough medical assessments to evaluate patients' physical and mental health.
Diagnose medical conditions, formulate treatment plans, and establish prognosis.

**Treatment Planning and Management**:Develop personalized treatment plans / follow the plan of the treating physicians that may include medications, therapy, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to specialists as needed.
Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

**Coordination of Care**:Collaborate with nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
Ensure effective communication and coordination of care between the patient's home and healthcare facility.

**Health Education**:Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
Promote healthy behaviors and self-management strategies.

**Documentation and Record Keeping**:Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records.
Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory and insurance guidelines.

**Patient Advocacy**:Advocate for patients' rights, preferences, and choices in their healthcare decisions.
Address patients' concerns and questions with empathy and professionalism.

**Emergency Response**:Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies that may arise during home visits.
Provide immediate medical care and initiate necessary interventions when required.

**Compliance and Quality Assurance**:Adhere to healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.
Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

**Continuing Education**:Stay updated with the latest developments in healthcare and medical practices.
Pursue ongoing professional development and training to maintain licensure and certifications.

**Qualifications**:

- Medical degree (MBBS or eqvivalent) from an accredited medical school.
- Current DHA medical license and board certification in General Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Previous experience as a General Practitioner, preferably with experience in home healthcare.
- Strong clinical skills, including the ability to perform physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and empathy skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patients' homes.
- Valid driver's license (Preffered).
- CPR certification.
- Arabic Speaking (required)
- Female (required)

**Salary**: AED6.00 - AED8.00 per month
