**Company Overview**:
We are a Dubai-based company seeking a General Accountant capable of analyzing financial activities and providing strategic advice to senior management regarding future financial plans.
- **Financial Management**: Undertake all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budget preparation, and development of internal control policies and procedures.
- **Responsibilities**:

- Generate financial reports and interpret financial data.
- Analyze costs, pricing, sales results, and overall performance compared to business plans.
- Develop financial forecasts and projections.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Oversee the preparation of the company’s budget.
- Manage all accounting operations, including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Purchase Orders, Invoicing, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Coordinate the preparation of financial forecasts and variance reporting.
- Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with local and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Perform additional duties as required in a controller capacity.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a General Accountant or similar role.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with financial reporting and budgeting.
- Familiarity with financial software and proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
