Job Title: Secondary Curriculum Data Support Officer

Job Scope:
The Secondary Curriculum Data Support Officer is responsible for supporting the MYP and DP Coordinators in the organization and administration of MYP e-Assessments, DP world exams and other pathway examinations in line with SISD policies, procedures, and formal external examinations regulations. The Secondary Curriculum Data Support Officer plays a vital role throughout the academic year where the post holder is required to develop a multitude of relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The Secondary Curriculum Data Support Officer is responsible for the set up and administration of external tests including but not limited to GL CAT4, PT, NGRT, PASS and TIMSS, PISA, ABT.

**Responsibilities**:
This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities. The responsibilities outlined may be modified by the Head of Secondary, upon mutual agreement, to reflect or anticipate changes in the role:
Exams and Data Support:

- To support in the day-to-day management of school academic databases.
- To provide administrative support regarding assessments and examinations and ownership of specific exam database.
- To manage KHDA examination windows ensuring all staff are aware of the process and that all examinations are conducted in accordance with external guidance.
- To support with the allocated seating plans as requested.
- To ensure safe storage and confidentiality of examination materials.
- To provide data and analysis to the SLT, Subject Coordinators, Boarding and teachers to ensure that examination results are accurately reported, and so informed decisions can be made.
- To provide associated administration to support the examination process.
- To assist with the Input school examination results into the appropriate school data packages.
- To undertake general admin duties as requested.

Assessment and Reporting:

- To co-ordinate with SLT and agree assessment and reporting calendar with SLT.
- To provide communications to teaching staff, curriculum Coordinators, as needed, to ensure they are aware of deadlines, and they comply with them.
- To provide any reports to teaching staff as required to facilitate assessment and reporting process for deadlines.
- To do data checks during process to check data quality and completeness before final review by SLT members.

Other responsibilities:

- 2 hours every morning will be in Secondary Reception to assist in morning registration procedures, late notes and assisting students arriving at school.
- To track student attendance and punctuality/late arrivals throughout the day as mandated.
- Liaise with Admissions and ensure new student assessments (CAT4) are returned by the academic team to Admissions within the timeframe so an offer can be made to the student.
- To keep an up-to-date database of student attainment and progress as directed by Deputy Head of Academics.
