Head Veterinarian

**Kinetic** is working with a leading **Agritech** company who are hiring a **Head Veterinarian** to be based in **Abu Dhabi**.**

**The main responsibilities will include but not limited to**:

- Monitor, and evaluate the performance of veterinary staff to ensure compliance and maintain a high standard of medical care.
- Regularly review medical processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate strategies.
- Conduct audits of records/invoices/veterinary reports for accuracy and efficiency.
- Set a realistic budget and oversee financial performance ensuring all staff adheres to scheduled fees.
- Coordinate schedules and rotas.
- Provide training opportunities for students and support training institutes.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the veterinary staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous learning.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure excellent customer service is always provided.
- Stay updated with advancements in veterinary medicine and integrate new techniques and technologies into practice as appropriate.

**To be successful you will need to meet the following**:

- **Degree in Veterinary Medicine from an accredited school that can be registered with the RCVS.**:

- **Proven experience in veterinary medicine.** Horses/Camels experience is an advantage.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capability to inspire and motivate a team.
- MEA Region experience is advantageous.
- **Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.**:
