Scrap Trader

We are a growing organization involved in diverse business sectors. So we are expanding into the scrap trading sector and are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to manage this division entirely.

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all aspects of the scrap trading business, including procurement, inventory management, and sales.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, buyers, and logistics partners.
- Evaluate and classify scrap materials to ensure compliance with market standards.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers and buyers to maximize profitability.
- Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities.
- Develop strategies to optimize costs, enhance operational efficiency, and achieve revenue targets.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental policies related to scrap trading.
- Manage and train staff (if required) to support the division’s growth.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in the scrap trading industry (minimum of 3-5 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of different types of scrap materials (metal, plastic, e-waste, etc.) and their market value.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and take full responsibility for business outcomes.
- Knowledge of local and international scrap trading regulations and standards.
- A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
- Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
