**Home Care Nurse - DOH Licenced / Passed**
**Job Summer**:
Registered Nurse provides direct patient support and nursing care within their full scope of practice. This will
include participation in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs and
services for individuals, families, and the community.
**Duties & responsibilities**
Assess patients comprehensively after receiving referral and identify need for
nursing intervention
Develop plan of care for patients based on the assessment
Deliver nursing care intervention such as feeding, diaper changing, skin and oral care; promotes hygiene;
administers medications; dress wounds, peg site and other contraptions; and assist in ADLs
Monitor and document patient’s vital signs, intake and output, medications, nutritional and
hydration status, urine characteristics and bowel movement
Report and document any changes in patient status and respond in emergency
situations immediately
Coordinate with GPs, physiotherapists and other health professionals involved in the provision of care
Monitor medical equipment and supplies, especially medication expiration, and coordinate with other
personnel or staff for the needed supplies or medications in a timely manner.
Assist during hospital admissions or during patient check-up in hospitals or healthcare centers
Responsible for the safety of the patient under his/her care for the duration of the home care service
Make sure all documentation relating to services provided are clear, complete and free from errors
Teach patient, caregivers and family members regarding infection control and health promotion
measures
Recognize patient rights and responsibilities and ensure patient confidentiality
Adheres to all GIMS policies and procedures, HAAD, DAMAN and Labor standards
**Qualifications (Educations and Experiences)**:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Home country License
Minimum of two 2 years’ experience with post qualification in related field
DOH License
Valid BLS Certification
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
