1. Reviews, drafts, Prepares, and negotiates inter-alia, agreements & contracts, FIDIC, special licensing, non-disclosure agreements, MOAs, Board Resolutions, BTAs, STA, etc., and ensures compliance with company policies as well as applicable laws or regulations, mainly in English and Arabic;
2. Interprets contracts and advises sales/ rent/ construction/ consulting managers on contractual responsibilities;
3. Drives contract lifecycle from drafting through completion of the negotiation process, and/or contract execution. Manages contract change control process and related correspondence requiring legal input;
4. Identifies business objectives of direct sales / rent / construction / licensing / consulting transactions, capital markets, related issues, and facilitates risk/benefit analysis;
5. Drafts, manages, distributes, responds to, or analyses Requests for Information (RFIs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotation (RFQs), Request for Tender (RFT) or customer terms & conditions as needed;
6. Maintains a deep understanding of the Group contract templates, contracts policy, legal risk and liability, and company position on various matters;
7. Translates complex commercial/legal scenarios into simple language and action plans;
8. Demonstrate knowledge of, and experience with, laws dealing with government and/or non-government entity;
9. Ability to provide independent advice (orally and in writing) to higher management on highly technical matters;
10. Provide and interpret legal information, conduct, and disseminate appropriate legal requirements to staff;
11. Conduct the appropriate discussion with Company’s clients about any unclear points and answering their questions;
12. Proofreading and editing final translated Arabic-English versions and vis versa;
13. Complete routine tasks and assist with legal work, including research;
14. May mentor and train less experienced contract professionals;
15. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for the commercial tasks of the Department for executive management meetings;
16. Using appropriate software for presentation and delivery; and what may be added to the above at the request of the manager in charge

- Ras al-Khaimah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
