Mechanical Foreman

**Position Overview**:
The Mechanical Foreman in storage tank, piping, and structural engineering is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all mechanical activities related to storage tank construction, piping installation, and structural fabrication. This role requires extensive experience in mechanical construction within the storage tank and piping industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and lead a team of mechanical technicians and contractors in the execution of storage tank, piping, and structural projects.
- Ensure that all mechanical activities adhere to safety regulations and company procedures.
- Coordinate with the project manager to develop project schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Plan and schedule mechanical work activities, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor work progress and productivity, and take necessary actions to ensure project milestones are met.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that work is performed according to quality standards and project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues that arise during construction.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily progress reports, manpower, and equipment usage.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team and resolve any technical queries or issues.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of mechanical activities with other project components.
- Participate in project meetings, including progress meetings, safety meetings, and coordination meetings.
- Ensure that all mechanical work is completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience in mechanical construction.
- Extensive experience in storage tank, piping, and structural construction projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
