We are looking for a skilled **Web Designer and Developer (WordPress Preferred)** to join our dynamic team to create and maintain professional websites for our clients and internal projects.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

**Web Design**:

- **User-Centric Design**: Design aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly websites with a focus on responsiveness, accessibility, and functionality.
- **Graphic Design**: Create engaging visual elements, including banners, icons, and custom images that align with the company’s and clients' brand identities.
- **UX/UI Principles**: Implement best practices in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design to ensure optimal usability and performance across all devices.
- **Brand Consistency**: Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure website design aligns with the company’s branding and digital marketing strategies.

**Web Development**:

- **WordPress Development**: Design and develop websites primarily using WordPress, ensuring customizability, scalability, and security.
- **Theme Customization**: Customize existing WordPress themes or develop new themes based on project requirements.
- **Plugin Integration**: Identify, install, and configure relevant plugins for enhanced functionality, including SEO, security, e-commerce, and analytics.
- **Front-End Development**: Work with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and other web development technologies to build dynamic and interactive web pages.
- **Back-End Development**: Ensure proper integration of backend functionalities (PHP/MySQL) to ensure seamless data flow, form processing, and user management.
- **E-Commerce Integration**: Develop and manage e-commerce websites using platforms like WooCommerce, integrating payment gateways and product management tools.
- **Web Performance Optimization**: Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO, ensuring a high-quality user experience.

**Maintenance and Support**:

- **Website Maintenance**: Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and security checks for all company and client websites.
- **Troubleshooting**: Diagnose and fix website issues, such as broken links, slow loading times, or plugin conflicts.
- **Content Management**: Assist with website content updates, ensuring information is accurate, current, and aligned with SEO best practices.
- **Backup & Recovery**: Ensure websites have proper backup and recovery systems in place for data security and disaster recovery.
- **Security Best Practices**: Implement security measures such as SSL certificates, firewalls, and regular updates to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.

**Collaboration & Communication**:

- **Client Collaboration**: Work directly with clients to understand their web development needs, gather requirements, and provide regular updates on project progress.
- **Team Collaboration**: Collaborate with the internal IT, marketing, and content teams to ensure cohesive execution of website-related tasks.
- **Training & Documentation**: Provide clients with training and documentation for website management, empowering them to make minor updates on their own.

**SEO & Analytics**:

- **SEO Best Practices**: Implement SEO-friendly website structures, including optimized URLs, meta tags, alt tags, and internal linking.
- **Google Analytics**: Set up and manage Google Analytics for tracking website performance, providing actionable insights to improve traffic and engagement.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Web Designer and Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing WordPress projects.
- Expertise in WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Knowledge of back-end technologies such as PHP and MySQL.
- Experience with responsive and mobile-first design.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and web performance optimization.
- Excellent understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Design, or related field (preferred).
