As a Gold 3D CAD Modeler, you will be responsible for creating detailed and precise digital models of gold jewelry designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Your role will involve transforming design concepts and sketches into three-dimensional digital representations, serving as the blueprint for the production of gold jewelry pieces. This position requires a combination of artistic skill, technical expertise in CAD software, and a strong understanding of jewelry design principles.

**Required Expertise**:
**1. CAD Software Proficiency**:Expertise in using CAD software specific to jewelry design, such as RhinoGold, Matrix, or JewelCAD, with a strong understanding of CAD modeling principles and techniques.

**2. Jewelry Design Knowledge**:Understanding of jewelry design principles, including proportions, symmetry, and aesthetics, to translate design concepts into accurate and visually appealing CAD models.

**3. Attention to Detail**:Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to accurately replicate design elements, textures, and dimensions in CAD models.

**4. Technical Skill**:Proficiency in using CAD software tools and features to create complex shapes, surfaces, and geometric configurations, with a focus on precision and craftsmanship.

**5. Communication and Collaboration**: Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with designers, jewelers, and other team members, ensuring alignment with design specifications and client expectations.

**6. Creativity and Problem-Solving**: Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to address design challenges and optimize CAD models for manufacturability and aesthetic appeal.

**7. Time Management**:Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to project deadlines and production schedules.

**8. Experience**:Previous experience as a CAD modeler in the jewelry industry or a related field is highly preferred, with a portfolio showcasing proficiency in creating high-quality 3D CAD models for gold jewelry production.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. CAD Modeling**:Use specialized CAD software (such as RhinoGold, Matrix, or JewelCAD) to create three-dimensional digital models of gold jewelry designs, accurately capturing all design elements, dimensions, and details.

**2. Design Interpretation**:Interpret design concepts and sketches provided by designers or clients, translating them into digital models while ensuring fidelity to the original vision and design specifications.

**3. Detailing and Refinement**:Add intricate details, textures, and embellishments to CAD models, refining the design to achieve the desired aesthetic and functional characteristics of the final jewelry piece.

**4. Technical Accuracy**: Ensure technical accuracy and feasibility of CAD models, considering factors such as material thickness, gemstone settings, and structural integrity to facilitate the manufacturing process.

**5. Collaboration**:Collaborate closely with designers, jewelers, and other team members to review and iterate on CAD models, incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions to meet design and production requirements.

**6. Prototype Development**:Generate digital renderings and prototypes of CAD models for visualization and evaluation purposes, allowing stakeholders to assess the design before proceeding to physical production.

**7. Customization**:Customize CAD models according to client specifications and preferences, accommodating requests for modifications or adjustments to create bespoke jewelry pieces.

**8. Documentation**:Maintain organized files and documentation of CAD models, including version history, design revisions, and design specifications, to facilitate efficient workflow and future reference.
