Motion designers are responsible for creating animated graphics and visual effects that are used in television shows, movies, commercials, video games, and other forms of media.

Motion designers must be able to work independently on projects with tight deadlines. They also need strong communication skills to effectively communicate their ideas to clients and supervisors.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Creating and delivering motion graphics for various media
- Working with art and creative teams to select audio, video, colors, animation, etc. for graphic design
- Editing video footage and adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics
- Staying up to date on the latest graphic design techniques
- Design and create enticing motion graphics for video deliverables (corporate videos, eLearning, websites, marketing demos, etc.)
- Prepare design plan, concept and layout for motion graphic project.
- Create and deliver motion graphics in various media including web, mobile, etc.
- Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
- Assist in selecting audio, video, colors, animation, etc for graphic design.
- Maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming convention and organization of graphic files.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge about latest graphic design techniques.
- Assist in the creation of animation storyboards.
- Takes Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) lead in ensuring “safe systems of work” and “safe conditions” are in place within area of responsibility.
- Performs other similar or related duties as required or assigned by management.

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**

**Educational Requirements / Qualifications**:

- a degree/diploma in Design, Fine Arts or related field.

**Experience**:

- At least 3 years Motion Graphics Designer experience including video production design and animation.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro or similar tools.
- Have a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
- Organized and can priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas.
- A strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
- Ability to solve an array of challenges through visual design.
- Must be able to mediate creative problems to arrive at the best solution.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Motion Graphics Designer: 2 years (preferred)
